Living in Essex, MD, Renée (pictured left to the left of investigator Veronica) has had an interest in the paranormal as far back as she can remember. Now married and a mother of two her interest sparked into a fiery passion when she saw a ghost for the 1st time in 1994. 

Having a bad feeling that something was wrong, Vince, her best friend from high school, called her and asked if she was OK. Shortly there after the family dog Mylo kept looking at something up the stairs. She was getting nervous when a man walked down the stairs. As Renee ran out the door the figure watched from the porch and then... Disappeared. 

Vince Wilson, Junior

Living now in Highlandtown in East Baltimore, Vince has always been interested in things of the occult and supernatural. His interest and experience in computers and the internet helped create this site. 

Lingering around in the back of his mind for over a year he was inspired to finally create the site. The inspiration came from his long time friend from high school, Renee Hamer. He now maintains this site and its archives and accompanies Renee on field assignments.

Vince found that there were so many organizations in Maryland that were not exactly 'professional' that it was hard to gain ground in the field. When colleagues from other states heard he was from Maryland, they generally rolled their eyes sarcastically. Maryland, one of the most haunted areas around, had a bad rep for paranormal research! That is when he founded the Maryland Paranormal Investigators Coalition. A group of groups dedicated to serious paranormal research and scientific observation.

Their mission statement:

1. To provide leadership in Maryland through the application of scientific research of the paranormal.

2. To provide education, assistance and resources to new and existing paranormal organizations, the public and the media.

3. To foster and create new paranormal organizations throughout Maryland.

With the help of what he considers "the best bunch of paranormal researchers around" he has gotten some headway in the difficult task of turning around Maryland's reputation.

Vince has lectured on ghost hunting technology and is listed as an adviser in the latest edition of Troy Taylor's Ghost Hunters Guidebook and Ed Okonowicz's Baltimore Ghosts. He also has written for Ghost Magazine. He also the author of Ghost Tech a new guide to the technology of ghost hunters and paranormal investigating!

WHAT IS BSPR ALPHA TEAM?

Vince and Renée now head BSPR Alpha Team. Due to the overwhelming increase in investigations and busy schedules a second team needed to be founded to take up some of the slack. 

BETA TEAM

Jaime and Ryan have always enjoyed a good ghost story and growing up in the haunted town of Ellicott City there were plenty to fill that channel.  They always thought that any person who was interested in the paranormal would be a bit strange, but they decided to go to a meeting to see for themselves.  

On a whim, they attended a seminar hosted by Vince Wilson and were instantly intrigued.  They couldn't believe the amount of gadgets and procedures he was showing the group.  Surprisingly enough everyone at the meeting was extremely nice and appeared to be everyday people.  Ever since, they have had a new perception on the field and have now found themselves a new hobby.

Jaime and Ryan now head BSPR Beta Team. Due to the overwhelming increase in investigations and busy schedules of Vince and Renée a second team needed to be founded to take up some of the slack. Due to there obvious dedication and enthusiasm for the field they were chosen to cover this huge responsibility.
